Lake House Inn Winery: Wine Labels

The Lakehouse Inn Winery is a boutique Geneva-on-the-Lake hotel and winery. The winery produces hand crafted, small batch wines from Ohio’s Grand River Valley grapes, local apples and honey.

Over the years, various designers created labels on an as-needed basis. As a result, there was no consistency between the labels, and seeing wine bottles next to each other created a sense of visual
confusion which didn’t help the winery with their branding efforts.

We created a series of labels for over 20 wines, and began the process searching for the right stock that could provide a tactile feel, and be run as a short-run label with die cutting. The design incorporated an “old-world” feel of parchment along with photos and illustrations – many of which were taken at the winery.
