I am no stranger when it comes to wine openers and those with a double hinge lever are my preference. The two step system keeps the cork straight during removal and ideally less cork breakage. Regrettably this model is poorly designed. The first hinge has rounded corners that doesn’t grip the bottle neck well. Ultimately, too much pressure resulted in the hinge flairing out from metal fatigue and becoming useless. No excuse at any price point and at $5/ea this product is RADjected.
